Carletta Grier-Idris

Carletta Grier-Idris is the Founder of C.I.A.J (Count It All Joy) World Youth Alliance, Inc. an Atlanta-based nonprofit corporation established in 1991 to empower youth for local and global leadership.

Carletta’s professional achievement also includes a highly successful career as Research Scientist and Inventor of numerous medical and surgical devices for Fortune 100 Corporations.
A myriad of programs services for approximately 400 youth are offered annually which also includes providing clothing and serving 60,000 meals for youth summer camps.

During this 11th anniversary, World Youth is at the top of the list in developing a cadre of youth leaders within the metropolitan Atlanta area while strategically aligning them with national and international partners in Europe, West Africa and the Caribbean.

Carletta keeps her eyes on the future and anticipates the continuance of speaking engagements, authoring books and conducting seminars on Christian Women Leadership. Her views on Faith, Leadership, Empowerment, and “Fulfilling the Vision” are well respected and have helped educate and positively influence people of all walks of life.

This highly innovative and creatively charged leader is a frequent speaker addressing religious, civic and business associations.

Bobbie A. Grier

The late Mrs. Bobbie Alford Grier was co-founder of World Youth Alliance. Commissioner Jim Gunter appointed Bobbie A. Grier, a nurse by profession, Director of In-Home Detention of Jefferson County's Family Court Birmingham, Alabama. She served one Judge and two Referee Judges. She previously served the court as a volunteer in 1974-84. She worked with children in villages and clinics in numerous countries including, Monrovia, West Africa, and Port-a-Prince, Haiti.

She served as host to over 20 youth as part of International Youth Exchange Programs. The city school (Community Intensive Treatment to Youth) elected her chairman of their advisory board in February 1990. This school program was selected the model school program on a national level; Governor Guy Hunt presented this honor in October to the school. Her life revolved around youth, the elderly, and the homeless.

Many churches, schools, and organizations to speak on the needs of children sought her. Mrs. Grier has authored two books, one book concerning youth, drugs, teenage pregnancy, gangs and murder among youth, entitled "Parents: Plug It Up And Listen To Their Cries" and “ I Told Ya.“
